Tropical Blue Bamboo - Bambusa Chungii

If you have a larger garden and want a very special ornamental plant, Tropical Blue Bamboo (Bambusa Chungii) is a real eye opener. It is a more open plant with a larger gap between the canes (Grove affect), reaching 8m tall. It has a bright white powder covering the culms which look an almost electric blue.

It also has a very distinctive rigid, dark green tropical looking leaf. Cold tolerant and easy to look after.
